Thank you!

Thanks to all those who came to support our launch on Tuesday, and to those sending best wishes from afar!

Hi Friends,

Thank you for your support of our Sociability launch in Oxford this past Tuesday!  It was a wonderful event and we greatly missed those that couldn’t make it. We could feel your best wishes from afar though, so thank you! We'll be posting some professional photos of the event on our Facebook page shortly! Stay tuned!

Now that we're up and running, here's a quick overview of some crucial next steps that we'd love for you to be involved with.

DOWNLOADS & FEEDBACK

Sociability is now live worldwide on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store! If you haven't already, we'd love for you to download the app and give it a play around!

Please let us know what you think! We know there'll be lots to improve and we want your honest feedback to help us make Sociability the best it can be!

Please email any thoughts, suggestions, criticisms or concerns to feedback@sociability.app!

We're working hard to fix a small bug preventing Sociability from installing on older Android phones that don't support AR Core. We're very sorry! We hope to have this sorted in a few days' time.

YES, I'VE GOT SOME FEEDBACK!

3 Hot Tips for Using Sociability

Thanks to everyone who is already using the app and reviewing local venues and shops! It's so exciting to see the data rolling in!

We wanted to share a few hot tips to help you get the most out of the app!

  1. Create an account to add in access information! You can do this via the main menu (top right hand corner)

  2. Explore your location with the 'Show Map' tab, or find a specific venue with the 'Contribute' tab.

  3. Test out our nifty Measure Tool when measuring door widths!
It uses your camera to measure real-world distances. Just stand relatively close to the object (~60cm), then hold and drag the screen across the space! Neato!

SOCIABILITY SUNDAY: AN OXFORD ACCESS MAPATHON

WILL YOU HELP MAKE OXFORD A MORE SOCIABLE PLACE FOR ALL?

Friends, if you're in Oxford this Sunday 16 June, we'd love you to join us at our first Oxford Access Mapathon.

We're meeting @ 4pm outside the Clarendon Building (Broad Street) before running around Oxford in teams with the app to gather as much access info on local venues and shops as we can!

We'll then all head to an accessible pub for a pint, a laugh and a chat!

Please invite your friends and family to the Facebook event here: www.bit.ly/sociabilitysunday.

The more the merrier!

And, if you're interested in hosting a similar Access Mapathon in your home town, please let us know!

SKOLL VENTURE AWARDS – 2019 FINAL

Help Sociability win £25K in grant funding!

Next Monday 17 June – join us at the Oxford Foundry as our CEO, Matt, pitches in the final of the Skoll Venture Awards!

There's also a People's Prize of £5K for the most loved idea, so please come along and vote for us if you're around!

I LOVE GRANTS! I'LL BE THERE!

And that's it! Stay tuned for more updates in the coming days and weeks.
