Say hello to our new and improved tagging feature! We've made it easier than ever to add accessibility information to venues.

At Sociability, we're constantly striving to make our app not just easy to use but also a powerful tool in promoting accessibility everywhere. That's why we're thrilled to announce some big updates to our tagging feature. You asked for better guidance and a simpler process and we listened!

What’s New?

1. Better Guidance for Photos and Alt Text

Many of you told us that you weren't always sure what photos to take or what to write for alt text. In this update we provide guidance for each area of a venue so you know how to take the best photos and how to write great alt text. We know how important photos are when you are searching for accessibility information. This is a big step in ensuring we have great photos for every venue!

2. Streamlined Navigation for Area Selection

We've redesigned the tagging homepage using a grid layout, making it easier to select the area you want to tag. This clearer navigation means less time spent on figuring out what to click and more time on contributing valuable information. See if you can check off each section in the grid to finish a venue!

3. View photos and tags together

We're introducing the ability to view your photos alongside the tags you're adding. This update allows for a quicker tagging experience. No more scrolling up and down to check your photos! This means that your photos and tags align perfectly, providing a clear and accurate representation of the venue's accessibility features.

4. Progress Saved Automatically

We understand that your time is precious, and not everyone can complete their tagging in one go. That's why our improved tagging feature now saves your progress automatically. Whether you need to take a break or momentarily leave the app, you can pick up right where you left off, ensuring that adding accessibility information is as convenient as possible.

5. Simplified Editing Process

Need to make changes? We've got you covered. Editing your tags and photos is now easier, allowing for swift updates and corrections. You can edit any information that you have added to the app by visiting the tagging page for the venue or going to the Activity section of your profile.
