We don’t know about you, but in London, we are always on the lookout for accessible coffee shops for a chance to rest throughout the day! The new mapping team at Sociability have been walking the streets of Soho with one mission in mind – to let you enjoy it as stress-free as possible!
Ole and Steen

Ole & Steen are an absolute delight for both your eyes and your taste buds! They serve the most amazing of pastries and cupcakes, not to mention coffees, teas and hot chocolate.
Additionally, they’re sporting a step-free entrance and a fully accessible bathroom fitted with grab rails and an emergency pull cord. So if you’re in a mood for Danish treat – this is the place to go!

2. Starbucks Coffee

When the urge for a frappuccino strikes in central London, this is a great accessible Starbucks choice! Located just around the corner from the busy shopping hub of Oxford Street, and the theatres of Shaftesbury Avenue, there is a built in ramp to enter, seated height counters and wide paths. Inside, the space is open space with good natural lighting and a large accessible toilet. Be warned though, it can get busy!

3. Arôme bakery

Arôme bakery is a sweet little bakery tucked away in Covent Garden. The bright interior and minimalistic, calm atmosphere make it a perfect place for getting a bit of work done or catching up with an old friend. They serve a wide array of pastries and coffee, so you can rest assure your sweet tooth will be taken care of.
The entrance is step-free and there is plenty of sitting available, as well as an accessible toilet on site, so you can be sure to have a delightful time.

4. Caffe Nero

This is a well sized Caffe Nero, located between Tottenham Court Road and Shaftesbury Avenue, with step-free access, wide paths and a large and accommodating accessible bathroom. Located close to some of the busiest streets in London, this cafe has great natural lighting throughout, with lovely views across the street to the Church of St Giles in the Fields, which was built in the 1700s, and was originally founded in 1101!

Crepes, Coffee and Chai is a perfect destination for a brunch with friends. With plenty of sitting and a tiny bump at the entrance, but take a look at the photos our team has gathered to make sure you’re okay with that! They serve a variety of crepes and pancakes, as well as warm beverages to all tastes, so you’re bound to find something you’ll like. They also have an ambulant accessible toilet with grab rails on site.
