Planning a visit to a London Christmas market is stressful enough without worrying about finding an accessible place to eat. Sociability makes planning easier by allowing you to filter through thousands of restaurants to find one that fits your access needs. Here are our recommendations for accessible restaurants near some of London’s most famous Christmas markets.

1. Larry’s at the National Portrait Gallery

Larry’s at the National Portrait Gallery is near the Trafalgar Christmas Market at Charing Cross. Located in the gallery’s restored vaults, this historic restaurant offers afternoon tea by day and signature cocktails by night. The vaults are accessible by lift, and the wheelchair-accessible bathroom is complete with baby change facilities and grabrails.

If you’re visiting the market at Covent Garden, check out the Italian restaurant La Goccia. The restaurant has a wood-fired oven, and on milder days, you can enjoy the fully heated outdoor seating. When it gets too cold, duck through the step-free entrance and enjoy a variety of indoor seating options, including tables that are clear underneath.
